When accounts and platform features are enabled, Votyng may process account details such as your name, email address, phone number, subscription status, viewing progress, voting participation and community activity to provide the service and protect its integrity.
How information is used
Information may be used to manage accounts, deliver content, process authorised subscriptions, prevent abuse, operate polls and competitions, provide support and improve platform safety.
Phone and billing information
Mobile-network identification and carrier-billing information should only be processed when necessary for a clearly disclosed service, with appropriate permissions, security controls and applicable provider requirements. Votyng must not charge airtime without the required user authorisation.
Safety and retention
Votyng should apply access controls, data minimisation, retention limits and age-appropriate safeguards, particularly because its community may include teenagers. The final policy must be reviewed against the actual systems and applicable laws before launch.
